Jackson Shutter & Millwork is the collaboration of two long-term and experienced craftsmen, Rick Dieter and Ray Jackson. Rick has been a Master Pattern Maker for over 35 years, Ray a seasoned carpenter, contractor and home inspector for 40 years. Both agreed that the quality and construction of many wood products today have suffered. The use of plastics and other inexpensive and toxic materials has greatly diminished the quality and reliability of many wood products in our homes today.

We have deconstructed and inspected many of these overseas products and found most of them to be poorly engineered and constructed. We have found them overall to be low quality. "You Get What You Pay For"
We chose to bring back old fashioned local craftsmanship and quality and are very proud to do so. While others say it cannot be done, we disagree.
With our knowledge, skills, work ethic and dedicated craftsmen almost anything is possible.
